Strategy Logic Overview

Camelback Trend Structure

ODIN uses four moving averages to create a powerful “camelback” trend filter.
Trades are executed only when price is clearly positioned above all MAs for longs or below all MAs for shorts.

This means:

• You trade with momentum

• You avoid sideways, choppy markets

• Entries occur only after confirmation

Renko bars form only when price moves, not based on time.
With a 64-point brick size, market noise is drastically reduced.

Entry Conditions (Long Example)

A LONG trade is taken only when ALL conditions are met:

• Price above all four moving averages

• EMA slope rising (momentum confirmed)

• ADX > 20 (trend strength)

• Choppiness Index < 50 (non-ranging market)

• Minimum 2 consecutive confirmation bars

• Current Renko bar closes green

• Cooldown period completed

• Trade is within allowed trading hours

(Short trades use the exact opposite logic.)

Exit & Risk Model

ODIN follows a pure scalp model:

• Contracts: 4 MNQ

• Profit Target: +20 points
  → $40 per contract / $160 total

• Stop Loss: –16 points
  → $32 per contract / $128 total

• Risk / Reward: 1.25 : 1

A win rate above 44% is sufficient for profitability.

Trading Time Windows (ET)

• 00:00 – 11:30 (Overnight → Morning)

• 13:00 – 15:30 (Post-lunch session)

• Forced Flat: 15:45 (no overnight positions)

Low-liquidity lunch hours are intentionally avoided.

Built-In Risk Management

Designed with prop firm evaluations in mind:

• Daily loss limit (default: –$350)

• Daily profit cap (default: +$500)

• Automatic trading halt after limits are reached

This protects capital and prevents emotional overtrading.
